It is not easy in an era where all imperfections began to become as rules to bring back the perfection and the era of perfect things. But, through this collection Donatella Versace outlines the purity of that "black and white era ... (where) the photography was perfect. The lighting was perfect, the hair was perfect, the makeup was perfect. It was all always to perfection". This is what Versace Couture brings back to this autumn collection.
A FASHION COLLECTION WITH LUXURY FABRICS:
For a fashion collection, fabrics are essentials. And, for this one, Versace came with the finest fabrics: micro sequined embroideries, leather, mink and tulle all used in combinations like in a "conceal and reveal" game. A great piece of work is the Medusa-cinched croc coat, the bustier lace or open leg dresses. All in dreamy colours like the gemstones colours: blue, burgundy, green, all these creating a sensual collection that puts glamour in the center.
