Alexander Wang is a night creator and draws his inspiration from the nocturnal vibes and stars. For this, he created the ambiance of the fashion show by putting a black tent just behind the Palais de Tokyo.

"I wanted to change the energy, change the vibe, change the location," said Alexander Wang.  

The collection has a bit of sobriety and straight trapezoid lines are a part of the designer`s philosophy. The outfits are embellished with rich embroidery and graphics. A great inspiration from the Tour de France was seen in the mix of shorts with tulle sleeves and cycling shoes. Also, intricate 3D diamond inserts and tunics from sequins are part of the collection.

Per all, the collection shows the pure lines of Balenciaga in a sort of futuristic idea of mixing elegance and sportiveness.
