On a sunset bathed garden party style event at Yacht Club de Monaco, in the Port Hercule, only a month after its launching, the YCM Gallery opened its doors to the members and guests.
In the presence of HSH Prince Albert II, high-end boutiques like Rolex by Zegg & Cerlati, Brooks Brothers or the Swisscourtage firm, Only Yacht shined away reflecting the opulence of the YCM Marina. From the fine watchmaking brand Rolex to fashion empowering with long lasting tradition since 1818, like Brooks Brothers, the YCM wanted to have its pearls ashore. And keep them safe in the harbor. Just like having the superyacht insurance company, Only Yacht, in the same building, as a comforting area.
`The Yacht Club de Monaco's new building is the ideal setting for us as it will be a shopping destination for welcoming not only YCM members, but also residents of the Principality and tourists," commented Claudio Del Vecchio, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Brooks Brothers Group cited by YCM.
At the event, important personalities could be seen like Jean-Victor Pastor, President of Only Yacht, Konstantinos and Sophia Tsouvelekakis, CEO Brooks Brothers Monaco, Tina Zegg and Carlo Cerlati next to Philippe Schaeffer, General Manager of Rolex France.
Regarding the amazing super jet boat architecture of Yacht Club de Monaco, I have to outline the finesse and close attention to each detail respecting the spectrum of its focus: marina, superyachts, luxury, sea and land altogether at the highest level. Designed by the architecture Lord Foster in close partnership with Monaco`s architect, Alexandre Giraldi, the building called Free Spirit is a mix of hi-tech and environment care, a ship line between the city and the sea and a brilliant flagship that makes Monaco as The World Capital of Yachting. Under these rules, the Gallery has been built as a space for connecting members in an environment that combines all the above elements. From paintings, anchors, books, special objects and boats, each corner has a spirit of its own made to connect and relate to the sea. This atrium in the heart of the building is an exhibition hall that has it all: showroom, library, fitness, swimming pool, restaurant and terrace.
The author Noëlle Duck, author of 150 Years of Yachting and Rowing in the Principality, greeted the visitors of the Gallery in a literary manner. She presented her books to the members and gave autographs. One of the great encounters was with HSH Prince Albert II who stopped and congratulated Noëlle Duck on making his Gallery tour.
The Gallery of the Yacht Club de Monaco is reserved to the Yacht Club members. The three boutiques, (Rolex, Brooks Brothers and Only Yacht) on the Quai Louis II are open to the public.
