TAG Heuer makes a statement during New York Fashion Week!
The Swiss Avant-Garde watchmaker unveils its new LINK LADIES COLLECTION with Iris Apfel,
participating in IMG's Pop-up Shop, and partnering with designers MONSE during the week.
During the week, TAG Heuer debuted Iris Apfel as its newest friend of the brand at the MONSE runway show sitting front row and sporting a new women's watch and pieces from the design duo's collection.
TAG Heuer is partnering with MONSE to support their runway show and will continue the celebration as one of the key sponsors of the afterparty that evening. Also during the week, TAG Heuer participates in the IMG's Fashion Pop-Up Shop located at 875 Washington Street where it offers its wildly successful TAG Heuer Connected Watch, fusing the worlds of fashion and tech.
Link. A design that dates back to 1987. The bracelet is highly distinctive, with its links in the shape of an S. It is both an iconic design and a standard bearer in terms of ergonomics and wearer comfort. Each link is rounded on the top, bottom and sides for an exceptionally smooth feel on the wrist.
TAG Heuer has reworked the famous Link collection in an exclusive series of watches just for women. In steel or black ceramic, with an elegant diameter of 32 mm, the new Link Lady now features a strap which is fully integrated into the case, whose horns have been removed. The bracelet still has a curved profile, and the finishes - in particular those on the steel models - are even more sophisticated: the entire contour of the S radiates a highly polished shine, while the upper surface of each link is fully brushed. The case shape lies between round and coussin, thanks to its 4 subtle corners.
The fixed bezel is a bold presence, with a large polished bevel and an offset ring that may be either polished or set with diamonds. All of the dials are in mother-of-pearl. Some incorporate a layer of black or blue-grey lacquer, offering a different colour variation. A date window at 3 o'clock and polished faceted indices complete the look. This is the first time a Link watch has been made entirely from ceramic, in particular a completely matt black, stylish and contemporary model The collection features three strikingly different styles. Steel models, with or without stones. Ceramic models: polished for an ultra-high shine or in sand-blasted black ceramic for a matt, stylish and contemporary look.
