Marchesa prepared for the New York Fashion Week a sort of Gatsby and Fitzgerald vibe and a decadent style filled with tulle and fringes. It's the kind of look that says I'm a woman, I am powerful and my seduction is my strength.
For this ready to wear collection, Marchesa prepared a hedonistic encounter naming the collection "Opium Dreams". The elegant sin, the dark lipstick and the 20s hairstyle, the silk fringes and embroideries, tops over black trousers, they were all the details that counted.
"We're really feeling it," said Chapman of the fancy pants look. "Some of the tops are floor length. We definitely feel it's black-tie worthy."
The colours from the collection spreads from red to aubergine and black creating the darker mood of the collection.
