A stage of the "World E-Bike Series Monaco" will be held on the territory of the Menton, Riviera & Merveilles Tourist Office next May!
The traditional season opening of the UCI E-MTB XC World Cup (or E-Bike Mountain BikeCross-country UCI), the most important electric mountain bike competition in the world, will be held this time on May 20 and 21, 2023 in Breil-sur-Roya, for the round called "Monacoround".It's confirmed, a stage of the Electric Mountain Bike World Cup will indeed take place in Breil-sur-Roya, and more precisely at the Col de Brouis, next May. Indeed, the city will host for the first time the opening round of the E-MTB XC UCI WES World Cup, an event combining high-level sporting competition and attractions for local enthusiasts. A spectacular destination for all electric mountain bikers, the town will offer a very rich experience for professional and amateur cyclists, with particularly difficult routes. This year, riders will be dealing with very demanding, rocky and dirt terrain, with steep, physical climbs and challenging descents that will allow the best riders in the world to make the most of their electric assistance.
The event will include 2 days of competition, May 20 and 21, 2023.
Fans will also be able to enjoy the event, thanks to the "Ride WES" which will take amateur mountain bikers of different levels on and around the World Cup courses. This round will thus be an excellent opportunity to develop the practice of mountain biking in Roya, to get closer to the protagonists of world electric mountain biking, and why not, to discover Breil-sur-Roya.Breil-sur-Roya is a village steeped in history with its houses with arched porches. The Roya river divides the territory of the commune in two, thus giving a special charm to its quays lined with plane trees.
