For over 35 years, Woody Allen and his New Orleans Jazz Band, led by Eddy Davis has enchanted audiences with a repertoire influenced by the music of New Orleans. The Jazz Band is inspired in the Woody Allen adores music since childhood, like Sidney Bechet, George Lewis, Johnny Dodds, Jimmie Noone and Louis Armstrong. Each representation is unique and results in energetic and spontaneous improvisations. A complicity that lasts and allowed the group to reach their first European tour in 1996. The documentary film "Wild Man Blues" is the chronicle of this tour. For 10 years, the band performed once a week in the Carlyle Hotel in New York.
Two months after the release of "Magic in the Moonlight", his latest film, Woody Allen is back on the French Riviera and go through the stage of the Opera Monte Carlo, on 29 December for a single concert.
