Kindly note that Villa Belrose is a seasonal hotel. Consequently it is closed every year, from mid-Octber until mid-April. This hotel's name just about says it all: Villa Belrose, Saint-Tropez. The attraction here is essentially that this is the authentic St. Tropez of old, a sanctuary for the rest and relaxation of the fantastically rich and impossibly posh. And the hotel is everything one could reasonably expect from a private estate in this most legendary of destinations. The resort feels more like a residence than a hotel, a vastly spacious residence, extravagantly decorated, with every imaginable luxury accounted for.The rooms are designed in the Louis XV style, with (as the hotel stresses) a Provencal touch, and a light and airy atmosphere fitting a seaside villa.
The entire estate and all of the rooms directly overlook the Bay of St. Tropez, and each room has its own terrace from which to take in the magnificent view.Amenities are absolutely modern, with three phones to a room, fax machines, and underfloor heating (though the resort is closed during the coldest of months). Three meeting rooms accommodate those fortunate enough to have business in St. Tropez, and all guests benefit from the fitness center and heated outdoor pool. Prices and policies vary widely based on the season. The high season Is roughly the end of May to the beginning of September, and the resort is closed all of November through all of March. But for that old-money feeling at new-money prices, book just on either side of the off-season.
