Christmas vacation is a great opportunity to discover or to rediscover in family the National Museum of Natural history, unique historical site devoted to natural sciences. During the end of the year time, parents and children will be able to:discover the hidden face from a world with exhibition « In the course of The spiders » - to participate in workshops and in the gardening art, all for a really great family time.

The Gallery of the children celebrates its first birthday this December. It waits about 6-12 years which will be able to approach biodiversity in a concrete and play manner there. For it, she offers various implements which solicit all senses: about 400 naturalized specimens, sculptures of animals which they can touch, interactive implements, real pictures... To discover the amazing diversity of plants and animals, the stage design plunges the visitor into 3 circles - laville, the river and the rain forest - as well as in a space devoted to the planet and to its future. A particular attention was turned to the persons in situation of disability, allowing to return a party of this new place approachable to all.

Spider expo:

More than 50 000 visitors have already discovered it... Exhibition attacks the plates which forged the poor reputation of the spider and declines the characteristics of this efficient predator who constitutes a link mattering from the food chain. The spiders are not hirsute monsters but very amazing animals! The course of exhibition is conceived as a progressive discovery to make acquaintance better, without skipping the part of imagination and reasons, real or mythical, the fright which they inspire. Zones, defined well by the stage design, treat as the arachnophobie by looking after to inform the visitor. Thanks to a big diversity of approaches, exhibition approaches the world of the spiders in a pedagogic, artistic manner and certainly scientific. In program: play implements, photographs, videos, sculptures, ethnographic objects, fossilized, naturalized and living spiders... « In the course of the spiders » Every day from 10 h till 18 h, except Tuesday - Ticket office: purchase on place or on network Fnac / Crossroad - Closing of cases at 17 h French-English bilingual 15 exhibition. Booklet of accompaniment in visit is available in Spanish also.

Workshops for little kids and art of gardening are offered to the children from 5 years. They allow to become aware of biodiversity and give a play approach of botany by calling upon to them creativity 19, 20, 21, 28, 29 and 30 december obligatory
