Vans partners The North Face for a limited edition, Vault

THE NORTH FACE and VANS became partners in order to create models more technical Vans as part of an innovative limited edition collection:

"Vault by Vans x The North Face"

This collaboration seeks to push the boundaries of design of the iconic Vans shoes, providing them with technical features and technologies developed by The North Face. This collection of seven models offers three interpretations of the Vans "Sk8-Hi LX MTE" and "Desert Chukka LX MTE" and a collaborative version of the Moncler flagship "Nuptse" The North Face.

Both created in 1966, the brands Vans and The North Face embody a creative and innovative vision in the field of footwear and apparel.

The motto of Vans "Off the Wall", pushed for generations to go further in the expression of their art, while giving life to mythical products inspired by action sports, music, fashion, the art and urban culture.

The North Face reflects the same approach in the field of outerwear, encouraging adventurers to get closer to their motto "Never Stop Exploring", through a wide range of products and high-performance technical equipment.

The Collection "Vault by Vans x The North Face" presents the Desert Chukka MTE LX in Black shades, Hale Navy and Toast and the Sk8-Hi MTE LX in Black, Blue Graphite / Surf the Web and Deep Teal / Toast.

Both models have been reinterpreted to provide notched soles, heat retention CosmoTMComfort technology, The North Face winterGRIP® with waterproof leather and nubuck upper. The CosmoTMComfort between the inner and outer sole prevents the heat from dissipating cold weather to retain up to 9 degrees Fahrenheit in the shoe. WinterGRIP®, the patented innovation by The North Face, is an adhesive rubber component designed to remain flexible when frozen and excels on slippery surfaces, offering about 20% more grip compared to traditional rubber.

The Desert Chukka LX MTE is lined with fleece to provide more heat while a DRI-Lex® HydroSeal® membrane coating and are integrated into the Sk8-Hi LX MTE shoe. We find the DRI-Lex® coatings in the liners since with their sophisticated textile structure and high-performance fibers, they offer excellent ventilation of moisture and a higher abrasion resistance. Also developed by The North Face, the HydroSeal® Waterproof membrane is an impermeable base that allows to expel the indoor humidity while protecting the feet of external moisture.

The finishes of this exclusive collection include the signature The North Face and Vans logo "Off the Wall" on the heel affixed and a logo celebrating the collaboration of the two brands on the insole.

In addition to the models Desert Chukka LX MTE MTE and Sk8-Hi LX, The North Face and Vans have a new interpretation of the jacket "Nuptse Jacket" by applying the famous check pattern on a classic in the outdoor.Proposée printed black tone on tone, the jacket "Nuptse" has a long-term water-repellent coating. It is also lined with an insulator down and provided with a taffeta double padding.

The Collection "Vault by Vans x The North Face" will be available on 31 Octobre at stores in France :
