It is the Shakespearean era into modern times, an Elisabethan style on a contemporain background. The last ode brought by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Valentino as she takes the hornes of Dior's creative direction. The creative Valentino remains only in the hands of Pïerpaolo Piccioli.
The poetical and lyrical collection, under the Shakespeare's sonnets ambiance proposes not to grasp "the stories, the plot or the protagonists," but "the individual's interior multiplicity." It was a show filled with aristocratic notes with gowns ranging from chiffon, embroideries up to royal animal jacquard. A mix of austerity and boheme, graphism and royalty, captured by a modern transposition of ideas.
