Monaco welcomes Twelve eclectic and talented Street Artists for UPAINT 2023.Monaco's live Urban Painting Festival will take place on the Larvotto Promenade from June 4th to June 7th, to support a new project of the Foundation Prince Albert II.Urban Painting Around the World (UPAW), which became UPAINT last year, revealing a strong new identity, has proven to be a crossroads for all participants from around the globe, which has led the event to reach its current success.
The 7th edition of the festival is back in the Principality of Monaco, on the boardwalk of the Larvotto, recently renovated with an updated modern design.This year's crew of international artists participating in UPAINT Monaco 2023 includes: Mon Devane (Spain),One Truth Bros (Switzerland), Martin Whatson (Norway), Hama Wood (Norway), Lula Goce (Spain), Stom500 (France), Woskerski (UK), Jena Cruz (Italy/USA), Rylsee (Germany), Nils Inne (France ), Lord Anthony Cahn (France) and Mr One Teas (Monaco). UPAINT 2023 is at the head of innovation. UPAINT will be a pioneer in a technological way as well by being the first cultural event in the Principality to be concurrently held in the virtual twin of Monaco, initiated by Dworld, in order to allow a larger public to attend the event worldwide through the metaverse.
Alberto Colman, his team, and the artists invited for this edition, will support a brand new initiative of the Foundation Prince Albert II (FPA2), called "Program Re-Generation", which purpose is to foster the fulfillment of young experts and talents ( 10 candidates, under 35 years old) within the network of the FPA2, and to promote the emergence of tomorrow's leaders in the field of environmentprotection. The festival will also host interactive activities, such as the "Street Art Challenge Junior" - which will return this year to showcase Monaco's high school students' creativity. Guests will be able to walk through an expo of artworks from previous editions of UPAINT - which will also be available for purchase in limited edition prints, and a wall will be available for the public to express their artistic talent. These are among many other exciting interactive features and activities.
UPAINT will be held alongside the 2023 photography exhibition organized by FPA2, "The Environmental Photography Award" on the Larvotto boardwalk.Just as during previous editions, collectors will be able to bid on the finished artworks from the 12artists during the evening of the last day of the event, an auction organized by HVMC (Hôtel desVentes de Monte-Carlo). Bidders will also be able to remotely participate in the auction, online through Invaluable.com and Drouot.com.
