For the Spring/Summer 2017 fashion show as sole Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli drew inspiration from the miniatures of the Middle Ages, the colors of the Renaissance and Paradise Lost. In a quest for the precious, without the preciousness and for a graceful poetry of color, Pierpaolo Piccioli collaborated with Zandra Rhodes. The British designer has been invited to reinterpret the pure and innocent lines of the ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights' an oil painting by Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch transformed into an incredible universe made of signs, symbols and stories in a romantic and punk print.
