Letting aside the rock'n'roll inspiration from the seventies, the creative director of Gucci, Frida Giannini came with a new wave for the Pre Fall 2013 collection.
Her inspiration wears a sort of military scent through its sober green colors, leopard elements, pale blue.
It is a strong combination that creates the image of the femme fatale. "This is a contemporary femme fatale who relishes her own dark mood," said Giannini cited by WWD. "Armed with an invulnerable aesthetic, she has an elusive sensuality - like the protagonist in a game of pursuit."
The pieces are created to show the silhouette, like the dress in stretch flannel, high-waisted pencil skirt, alpaca wool wraparound top.
The entire image is of a strong woman with a masculine touch, this is the Gucci woman for 2013.
