Topknot, the Beauty trend at Versace Fall 2013 Runway

One of the beauty trends for this season and the season to come is definitely the topknot. And Versace uses it with glamour in his runway. 

A topknot always goes well with a clear face and an accent on the eyes. Therefore, we can see at Versace models a natural look with accent on top and bottom lashes as Donatella Versace wanted it.

How the Versace topknot was made?

Guido Palau, the hairstylist of the catwalk used Redken Thickening lotion 06 on dried tresses and tied them with elastic, then twisted the hair all around the knot. "So it has a little punky, rock ‘n' roll feeling," said Palau.

The Versace makeup:

A natural look, a pure skin, balm on lips and groomed eyebrows - a look that emphasises the rock'n'roll feeling and need of expressing clear lines. Donatella Versace even showed the photo Tears from the Thrirties where the model's eyelashes were defined by mascara.
