Top Marques Monaco 2018: the highlights of a luxurious event

côte d'azur | …events

26 April 2018

TOP Marques Monaco, the world's only live auto show where visitors can trial the latest supercars on a F1 track, will celebrate its 15th anniversary next week.
To mark this auspicious milestone, the show is returning to its roots to bring you a spectacular display of world-class supercars in and around the Grimaldi Forum from April 19th to 22nd.
World premier supercars, rare classic cars and groundbreaking ecological vehicles will be on display in the Ravel Supercar Hall whilst more than 25 vehicles will be available for test drive on the iconic MonacoGrand Prix circuit.
Meanwhile, in the show's Watch Pavilion and Luxury Lane - visitors will have the opportunity to marvel at - and buy - watches from leading independent horologers as well as exquisite jewellery pieces and the latest luxury lifestyle must-haves.
Manoj Bairstow, Managing Director of Top Marques Monaco, said today: "To celebrate our 15thanniversary edition we have decided to return to the essence of what Top Marques is all about it - a live supercar show where visitors can get to see and try out some of the most incredible supercars in the world.
"We have supercars coming from all corners of the globe including six vehicles that will be unveiled for the first time. But that's not all. There will be stunning jewellery collections for our female visitors, watches that most of us can only dream of owning and some very unique luxury products."
Despite its relatively short history, Top Marques is now Monaco's third most popular event attracting visitors from a far afield as Japan, Canada and New Zealand. A record-breaking number of tickets have already been sold for the show, billed the ‘ultimate luxury car show' by Bloomberg TV.

Top Marques has established itself as one of the principal podiums on which to launch new supercars and this year is no exception with 6 world launches planned for Thursday, April 19th. You can catch these on the following stands:
D4: The TS 900 H  by Tushek
D5: As yet no details disclosed about this world launch by Pogea Racing
E2: The Enigma by BDI
E3: The Levis Café Racer
E4:  The LADA NIVA 4x4 Edition 40
C11: The M13 Bellator

Stand F6: Take a step back in time as you wander around our Classic Car Exhibition, which includes a wonderful display of well-known vehicles from another era such as Bugattis, Ferraris and Mercedes.

Stand C6b: Cherish another opportunity to revisit supercars from the past at the Gentleman Car stand, where Aaron Shelby, grandson of Carroll Shelby who created the first Shelby Cobra in 1962, will be present on the stand on Sunday April 22, from 1- 3pm.

F1 Circuit: Top Marques' USP is its' live test drives on the Monaco GP track. This year there will be 25 + cars available to trial including the new Zenvo TSR-S, launched at Geneva Motor Show but seen in motion for the first time atTop Marques.

PLACE DU CASINO: Top Marques is a show which spills out of the Grimaldi Forum onto the streets of Monaco, with a display in front of the Casino de Monte-Carlo each year. The year the highly-anticipated Apollo IE will be on display in this privileged position.

In 2008 Top Marques decided to honour the natural and historical association between cars and time-keeping by adding the Watch Pavilion to the show. Highlights this year include intricate timepieces by Greubel Forsey, a rare Patek Philippe ‘Grand Complication 5004' from 2010 being sold by a retailer, and live demonstrations by craftsmen for Swiss watch brand Century.

Also in the Watch Pavilion will be an incredible display of jewellery which we hope will impress and delight our female visitors. This year's collections are truly international, coming from countries as far apart as Russia, Italy and France.

More than 30 handpicked luxury exhibitors will be lined up in Luxury Lane, including Marmi Strada, furniture designers from Italy which promise to ‘shape your dreams' with unique and unforgettable designs in granite and marble.

Stand 54: Never seen before in Monaco are two world-famous street artists who will work their magic on a giant mural in Luxury Lane. Cosmos was a pioneer of the first French ‘tags' in the 80s and Gregos has created 1500 masks of his own face which he has painted and stuck to walls in cities across the globe.

Stand 45: Organisers have even thought of visitors who do not manage to get a test drive in a supercar with a handmade F1 simulator by Wave Italy. The virtual driving simulator promises to give visitors an "unforgettable driving experience" from the middle of Luxury Lane!
