The White Night of Books deploys its magic in the garden of LA VILLA LES CAMELIAS, on Saturday June 12th, 2021, from 3 p.m.
Where
Since the birth of the La Turbie-sur-Mer and the city of Cap d'Ail, at the beginning of the last century, the "international gentry" has taken up residence in sumptuous Belle Epoque buildings, followed by many personalities from the world of Arts and Letters. Among the long list we can cite: Guillaume Apollinaire, Colette, Sacha Guitry, Greta Garbo, Winston Churchill ... Thus in 1942 André Malraux moved to the "Villa Les Camélias", which has now become a private museum.

At the end of the Departmental Festival of Gardens of the Alpes Maritimes, whose theme this year is "Authors' gardens", the Villa Les Camélias is joining forces for the 5th consecutive year with the Town Hall of Cap d'Ail and the Parisian bookstore "Mots en Marge "to organize the" White Night of Books ". Given the particular context, this event is postponed in the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. and until 9:00 p.m.
The program
In an idyllic and festive setting, around thirty authors are invited for a friendly afternoon and early evening. The Villa les Camélias will welcome the public with round tables moderated by Bernard Lehut (RTL), and of course dedications from all the invited authors and illustrators.
