The True Art Of Perfumery

Jovoy Paris emanates the true art of perfumery. The extraordinary forgotten fragrances of the renowned perfume house first created by Parisian perfumer, Blanche Arvoy, in 1923 have been revived in six new visionary fragrances. Individual and opulent these authentic rare gems are made to be appreciated by true perfumistas.

François Hénin, owner of Jovoy Paris says, "I took the decision not to rework the exact original perfumes, but instead chose to do exactly what Blanche would have done - make perfumes for my contemporaries. They are made for raw materials lovers who are looking for fragrances with a lasting trail. They all show a side of the world I live in exactly as Blanche did in her time."

Bestowing magnificent compositions using raw materials of the finest quality with longevity, Jovoy's new artfully-crafted perfumes are contemporary, refined and unique. Transporting the wearer onto their own olfactory journey and delivering a multitude of sensory delights - these distinctive temptations return character and mystique, making them a must for lovers of fine perfumery.

La Liturgie des Heures

The true story of a day spent with monks at an old Cistercian abbey in the heart of France. Liturgy of the hours is dedicated to raw material lovers. It is more the resins, than the fumigation, the atmosphere of an old cathedral, a touch of humidity with Tree Moss notes - its elegant notes providing tremendous longevity.

Top: Fresh, Green, Cypress

Heart: Incense, Olibanum, Cistus, Myrrh

Base: Musk Perfumer - Jacques Flori

L'Arbre de la Connaissance

The tree of enlightenment. The Buddha found enlightenment by meditating under the Bodhi Tree, the ancient sacred fig tree of India. This singularly unique, green suave Fig composition was created with the help of shop visitors, perfumers and journalists.

Top: Fresh, Hesperidium, Leaves

Heart: Fruity-Fig

Base: Sandalwood, Patchouli, Fig Tree Perfumer - Jacques Flori

Psychedelique

Psychedelic is a tribute to the hippies. A great Patchouli fragrance, dark and smoky with a twist of Amber, its generous and opulent notes bequeath a robust trail of extreme longevity...even the rain and mud of Woodstock won't wash it away.

Top: Fresh Hesperidium

Heart: Rose, Geranium, Ambered, Woody (Cistus, Patchouli)

Base: Vanilla, Musk Perfumer - Marc Fanton

Ambre Premier

Fall in love with Jovoy's signature unisex perfume. A sensual and inviting fusion of seductive Vanilla and subtle Musk, blended with elegant warm Amber and exquisite Rose, it leaves a sensuous trail on the skin.

Top: Fresh and Spicy

Heart: Floral Rose

Base: Patchouli, Amber, Vanilla, Musk Perfumer - Michelle Saramitot

L'Enfant Terrible

I hate you, but I want you! L'enfant terrible is both hated and adored; its powers of seduction never fail. Alluring spicy notes blended with Cedar Wood, Date Fruits and tender notes of Sandalwood creates a very delicate perfume of pure sophistication.

Top: Herbaceous, Nutmeg, Coriander, Cumin

Heart: Sandalwood, Cedar, Orange Tree, Date

Base: Musk Perfumer - Jacques Flori

Winner: Best Artistic Perfume 2012, Global Art of Perfumery, PARFÜMERIE Magazine

Private Label

Private label is the inimitable oriental scent. Originally made for an Arabian Prince, its welcoming explosion of woody notes and heart of oriental rose bring a faithful, strong and masculine complexity that leaves a distinctive trail, while remaining consistent over time.

Top: Papyrus Sedge, Vetiver, Leather

Heart: Patchouli, Sandalwood
Base: Labdanum, Birch, Cedar
Perfumer - Cecile Zarokian
