The surf champion, Kai Lenny is in Paris

The ultra-talented American, Kai Lenny, surfer, windsurf, kite surfer, six times Stand-Up Paddle World Champion on the biggest waves in the world, is in Paris with TAG Heuer. At only 22 years, Kai has been surfing the huge and formidable Jaws wave for some years. He is the only one who surfed in 4 different disciplines in the same day (surfing towed, SUP, Kitesurfing and windsurfing). #DontCrackUnderPressure Cracking under pressure is never an option when it makes the water.

Before Kai Lenny, Stand-up Paddle, in the middle, it was for beginners aspiring to become famous, not for real surfers; and world champions water sports were not 20 year olds: he had over ten years to successfully master the XXL waves. And Kai came. 22 years and already six times world champion in Stand-Up Paddle, Kai Lenny is riding monstrous waves with an alien talent. Crack under pressure? It's just not a option.

Kai means "ocean" in Hawaiian and this is where he comes from. He was born on the island of Maui in 1992, was raised near the giant waves Jaws and Hookipa. At 4 years old he was already standing on his board, windsurf at 6 years, stand-up at 7 years, and kite at 9 years old. His mentor was the best Hawaiian surfer who taught him to respect the power of the ocean and absorb it.

What differentiates him from the others? Not his boldness, but its openness to all challenges. As when he challenge the winner of the America's Cup, Oracle USA, $ 15 million yacht on his board at $ 1,500 between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. He almost won! He won, however, six World Championships and worldwide recognition for this new discipline. "My philosophy is to live as if every day was the last, have fun, never give up and be the best possible."

He came to Paris and payed a visit to the TAG Heuer Boutique located at 104 Champs Elysées.Welcome by all the TAG Heuer team, he chose a tight Aquaracer Chronograph 300 Meters equipped with a rubber strap for the side sportsman. He asked many questions, focusing particularly on technical specifications of each model. A nice moment of sharing.

Kai Lenny is a pioneering, not afraid to break the conventions and have his own surf wave. As TAG Heuer, he proves every day his strength of character and will not crack under pressure.
