The Sea is Green to discover from March 10 to May 10, 2023
Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer places this year 2023 under the sign of the sea and announces the spring season with a new entertainment program labeled "The Sea Is Green". The Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is once again fulfilling its role as a hotel for connoisseurs and a meeting place for the arts and the environment: Saturday, March 11 inaugural event with a "Music of water" dinner-recital, accompanied an exhibition by Jean Boghossian, a music recital given by Stella Almondo and an exceptional dinner designed by Yannick Alléno. Then, still at the Hôtel des Connaisseurs, a meeting on the theme "The Sea is Green, sustainable hotels and the protection of the oceans" will be part of the official program of Monaco Ocean Week on 22 March. A whole set of events will mark this period until May 10, around art, culture, solidarity through the prism of environmental protection with an exceptional ambassador for the occasion: Pierre Frolla , a key figure in the commitment to the preservation of the seas and oceans.
Saturday March 11, inaugural event of the "The Sea is Green" program
At the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the presentation of Jean Boghossian's exhibition by the artist himself will take place. The evening will continue with a "Music of Water" dinner-recital by the Monegasque pianist prodigy Stella Almondo, organized in the heart of the Monegasque palace, in the Winter Garden, with a menu by Chef Yannick Alléno. Renowned music journalist David Abiker will orchestrate the evening, which will then be broadcast on Radio Classique.
Wednesday March 22, 2023, meeting "The Sea is Green, sustainable hospitality and ocean protection"
At the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, the morning will begin with a visit to the exhibition "The Sea is Green", with explanations by the artist Jean Boghossian, followed by a meeting fueled by feedback from the actors of the sustainable hotel industry on what they do in terms of respect for the environment, interviewed by journalist Leïla Ghandi, and in the presence of Pierre Frolla. This meeting is part of the official program of Monaco Ocean Week organized each year by the Principality of Monaco.
From March 13 to March 17, 2023, La Semaine solidaire
In this theme, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is renewing its commitment to the Foyer Economique de Nice with Solidarity Week: after a successful first edition in 2021, the chefs of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer are once again joining forces with Solidarpole to help the most deprived from March 13 to March 17, 2023. They will take turns throughout the week to prepare and serve their specialties.
Wednesday, May 10, 2023, a beautiful closing
The Monte-Carlo Beach and the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, establishments committed from the start, and both Green Globe Gold certified, will close this period with immersive entertainment: at the Monte-Carlo Beach, decked out in a diving suit and a snorkel it will be possible to discover the underwater ecosystem of the reef which contributes to the protection of the biodiversity of the local waters. A new habitat created in 2020, which is home to endemic species of flora and fauna. In the evening, the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort will take over with the outdoor screening of a cult film for the general public dedicated to The Big Blue while tasting the best of the sea in a street food and gourmet version.
