Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Departmental Council of the Alpes-Maritimes, unveiled at the end of the morning, at the Palais des Rois Sardines in Nice, the program of the 15th edition of the festival "C'est pas classique" which will be held at Palais Acropolis on 29 , November 30 and December 1st.
More than 50 free concerts for 3 days:
A rich and eclectic edition where women, in particular, will be in the spotlight. Indeed, the 3 highlights that will punctuate these 3 days of festival will pay tribute to the great voices of women.
This musical event will bring together many artists who will discover or rediscover to the audience from 0 to 99 years classical music otherwise through classics but also new shows, also showcasing the local scene.
For 2 years now, C'est pas Classique is open to the youngest people and families with a specific programming and space dedicated to families, young people and toddlers (for children under 3 years).
For Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council:
"It is a great pride for me today to present you the program of the 15th edition of "C'est pas Classique ", a prestigious and generous musical event that promises to be exceptional.

Organized by the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council since 2005, "C'est pas classique" has become a staple of the classic musical agenda. This year again, there are more than 50 free concerts and animations that for three days will bring to all classical music otherwise. Amateurs, specialists, in search of novelties, this Festival will bring to all sensations and a unique emotion.

Four highlights will punctuate the festival! Two exceptional evenings will honor two great personalities, two great voices of the classic and popular worlds. First, "Piaf Symphonique" in opening concert. In the role of "Môme", the fabulous Anne Carrère, considered today as Piaf's musical heiress with her exceptional and disturbing voice of similarities, will give the audience a breathtaking interpretation. Then, in closing concert "Callas concert - The Hologram Tour". 42 years after her disappearance and for the first time in Nice and in the Alpes-Maritimes, Maria Callas will perform on the big stage of the room Apollo for an exceptional recital in hologram! A true technological feat that will leave no one indifferent. Finally "DIVA", five virtuosos of opera will dust off the genre in a rock show out of the ordinary, and "Ed Banger Symphony" will honor the great electronic standards at a special birthday party of the French label founded by Pedro Winter . Another highlight that perfectly symbolizes the spirit of the Festival "C'est pas classique", classical music revisited and accessible to all.
Beyond these highlights, many other artists will discover the audience of 0 to 99 years old classical music otherwise through great classics but also new and award-winning shows.
This eclectic program demonstrates once again that classical music is an inexhaustible richness that can interact with other musical and artistic expressions to reach all audiences. The 2019 edition promises an unforgettable musical trip!
