Leaving behind a complicated past, she now serves as a detective in the Los Angeles Police Department alongside a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), an active mother with a past that is just as hectic. Burnett will have to wonder if McKenna's uncompromising and unscrupulous way of life does not hide a heavier secret. By tackling the city's most dangerous criminals, Syd and McKenna become valuable allies on whom to rely, both to enforce the law on the streets and to support each other in their respective lives. The cast is completed by Zach Gilford, Duane Martin, Ryan McPartlin, Sophie Reynolds and Ernie Hudson.
