The Nicois Youtuber, Cyprien, illustrates the char for the Nice Carnival 2024

The next edition of the Nice Carnival, which will be held from February 17 to March 3, 2024, will have Pop culture as its theme. On this occasion, the City of Nice called on YouTuber Cyprien Iov and gave him carte blanche to develop a float!

"While we had decided on the "pop culture" theme for Carnival 2024, it seemed obvious to us to call on one of the best-known content creators of his generation, who perfectly embodies this theme and what's more... Nice !
We are delighted that Cyprien Iov, a complete artist - YouTuber but also designer, comic strip author, actor, director, screenwriter - is bringing his artistic touch to our emblematic Carnival.

The strength of our Carnival is that in addition to being the first in France, it remains a traditional festival which resonates in the hearts of the people of Nice and inevitably brings back happy memories. We were particularly sensitive to Cyprien's attachment to Carnival. This attachment combined with his passion for Japanese anime, manga, Franco-Belgian comics, and the exceptional work of our Carnavaliers, will, without a doubt, result in an incredible "pop culture" float! »
