La Maison Montblanc asked the designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance to rethink its stores.
The new concept is based on three major themes related to the origins of the House. The cursive script associated with the Montblanc pen nib is the starting point of the whole concept. The curve that embodies the retail space evokes calligraphy and culture of writing. The emblem inspired by the snow-capped Mont Blanc and a symbol of the highest standards of quality and perfection, blends with different shades of ink to represent the life and soul of Montblanc and its desire to continually evolve through innovation. The third element emphasizes the passion for crafts, value inseparable from the history of the House.
Visible in the formal architecture of the shop and its dark wood composition, artisanal component builds on established wood used by artisans to practice their trades in different factories in the House.
