The little gem fronting Monaco 

Just where Monaco's shores kiss the Roquebrune Cap Martin's rocky beaches, there is a little gem hidden behind the green vegetation and the cricket songs, just on the rock with one of the best views fronting Monaco! It gives you such a feeling of being close and distant, cocooned and opened, at the same time!

A bohemian escapade by boat to La Vigie

There's another way to get to La Vigie ...by boat! Wasn't the case right now, but next time I should do it and enter the La Vigie spirit as it should ... from sea to land, a stroll from one realm to another, just  like into a 30s chic movie, sneaking away from the noisy city toward the place that fills your need for the bohemian escapade.

Fine dining in a convivial service and ambiance 

Once you enter the space, you can both enjoy silence and jazzy music by a jazz trio or a live DJ, the view and, of course, the gastronomic cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Paolo Sari, from midday till midnight. And here starts the culinary delight! From the aperitifs like Tempura de Saint-Jacques in ginger sauce (which ranked as one my favourite), crab, sardines "in saor", spaghetti, and the amazing grills like Black Angus beef smoked with Jack Daniel's and Madagascar pepper which conquered my taste buds on an instant (definitely, one of the best I have ever tasted), skewer meat and vegetables from La Vigie's garden and the desserts like sherbets and ice cream, small summer cones, La Vigie's pastry, chocolate macarons in a sweet little box and tiramisu ... what else can you ask for?! All served in the most convivial way possible which I totally adore, creating a feeling of coziness and familiarity. That's La Vigie's spirit I discovered!

"The cuisine team is made of 110 cooks, 5 cuisines. Each cuisine has a Sous-Chef and two Sous-Chefs who control each place. La Vigie is the only place in the Principiality which makes its own pastry, chocolaterie. We are really into craftsmanship on every level like winegrower champagne, organic champagne!" said chef, Paolo Sari, to the press invited to a wonderful dinner at La Vigie organized by Monte Carlo SBM.

La Vigie makes us witness of the love story between the moon and the sea

And the nightlights plunged into the sea, the waves danced towards the rocks and the music filled the spaces that was marked by laughters and good mood and felt like you wanted to stay even more or return as soon as possible.

La Vigie is open till 16th of September so plenty of time to enjoy this little gem, like a pearl waiting to be discovered and to reveal its secrets!
