One of the greatest loves of that time is that between Judy Garland and Franck Sinatra. Their love affair started in 1949 while Judy was married to Vincente Minnelli and ended in 1955 when she divorced her third husband, Sid Luft.
The love letter is on auction
One of their love letters is now unveiled to public at the public auction, RR Auction in Boston, a four pages letter that was written apparently after a meeting in the Hamptons.
I shan't forget the hours we've spent together-ever!
"You said today that you'd been negligent. But darling-that's so unimportant compared to the great amount of happiness you've given me. I shan't forget the hours we've spent together-ever!"
