The international video art festival OVNi is planning its 10th edition from Friday, November 15 to Sunday, December 1. On this occasion, it is releasing the Grand Jeu - the title chosen for 2024 - and is being rolled out over 2 routes: one in Ville(s) and the other in the Hotels. This year, the festival is sponsored by Jacques Rougerie, a visionary architect of world renown, and as guest artist of honor, Hélène Delprat, a French visual artist, painter, videographer and scenographer.
"OVNi in 2024 celebrates the tenth edition of an adventure.

A balancing act that has offered, since 2015, between vertigo and mastery, a playground on large screens. The proposals developed by OVNi and its associated partners are from the outset a pooling of suggestions and creations (...) OVNi is a subtle and generous break from everyday life. But let's give it some space, surprises could well come out of the gaps!" Nathalie AMAE - Artistic Director
This unusual festival mixes the hotel world with that of the artistic. It includes 3 weekends of events with exhibitions, screenings, performances and delightful carte blanche.
An edition promises to be rich in multiple talents

After a grand opening at the 109 Pôle de cultures contemporaines in Nice, the festival is settling in all over the city and is spreading out on the Côte d'Azur, from the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul-de-Vence via the Citadel of Villefranche.
Beyond a tribute in the hall to the artist Ben who passed away last June, the festival will give pride of place to the Nice artist Jérémy Griffaud, who brings his watercolors to life in a 3D world with specific creations at the Chagall Museum and the Lazaret cave, and a VR workshop room at the Windsor hotel.

With the exhibition Oeuvre de 1300 m2 by Pierre Giner at 109, immersive installations and multiple more intimate projections in hotel rooms, OVNi multiplies the formats of diffusion for the greatest pleasure of the public.
Here are some events not to be missed:
Eric Oberdorff in preview at the Musée des Beaux Arts Jules Chéret, Vincent Epplay at the Musée de la Photographie,
Miel Pages at the Gaya Scienza...
Arts and Sciences Meetings at the Providence Cultural Center, Round Table at the Musée de la Photographie in Mougins,
Literary Thursday at the Théâtre National de Nice
