Monte Carlo hosts the biggest event of the winter season on the eve of Valentine's Day 2020 - The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses

Five years ago, the event was created to bring the magic of Venice to the Principality. Monte-Carlo hosted this ball as part of a cultural, economic and tourist exchang ebetween Monaco and Venice, with the support of Mr. Georges Marsan, the Mayor of Monaco and S.E. Cristiano Gallo, Italian Ambassador to Monaco. After two crowned editions of success, it followed the opportunity to organize a grand Gala for the opening of the 75th Film Festival from Venice, to the Hotel Cipriani, an evening whose flagship theme was the image of the Principality. S.A.S.Prince Albert II of Monaco has agreed at the Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses, under his High Patronage in February 2019, to exhibit during the event, the ball gown of Princess Grace of Monaco, worn in 1966 on the occasion of the Centenary Ball, at the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Today we are working to prepare an even more surprising edition, by making it coincide with the feast of Valentine's Day, in order to make even more beautiful this weekend dedicated to Love. 

The Principality will bring a particular finesse to the day of love for its guests. Monaco will be ecstatic on February 14th with exciting performances, artistic entertainment, an exquisite dinner, mesmerizing songs and an aura of incomparable splendor.
The majestic "Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses" will reveal its beauty and magic on the eve of Valentine's Day. Preparations are underway with energy and enthusiasm. The event will take place under the patronage of HSH The Sovereign Prince Albert II of Monaco on February 14, 2020, at the Salle Empire of the Hotel de Paris, on the Place du Casino. It is recommended for distinguished guests to dress, such as the noblest and most sumptuous of lords and ladies. Military and ceremonial uniforms or tails for princes and prestigious grand ball gowns and high jewelry tiaras for princesses! All enhanced by princely props, as it should be for royal characters. The main objective of this great event is to create a princely atmosphere, in which the participants with the soul of princes and princesses deviate joyfully from everyday life to enter the fantasies of fables and mystical dreams.

A striking atmosphere, sumptuous banquets and splendid performances. The best artists, dancers, musicians and performers will make their appearance at the Grand Ball, drawing the guests' attention. The prestigious guests of the evening will swirl with their romantic partners while the majestic atmosphere will create a fantastic princely aura. From the reception, through the stage or the track for the ball, everything will resonate perfectly with the magnificent atmosphere that is the hallmark of Monte Carlo.

Delia Grace Noble, lyric soprano and UNICEF ambassador, is the artistic director of this unmissable event in the Principality. She strives to transform into reality, alongside its partners, the most magical artistic fantasies and the deepest emotions, with a team of remarkable and passionate artists. The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses is also a charity event; part of the funds raised during the gala dinner will be donated to the Princess Grace Foundation of Monaco.
