The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses, a Monaco revived fairytale

Monaco is the land of fairy tale, of sweet aristocratic romance, of princes and princesses. We are habituated to live the fantasy dream in Monaco and have this image of glamour and etiquette. But the story doesn't end here. Your dream can turn into reality on a special event created by Delia Grace Noble, opera singer and UNICEF ambassador, the heart and brain, the soul and spirit, the artistic director of this remarkable event in the Principality.

Five years ago, Delia Grace Noble brought the magic to Monte Carlo with the Venetian Ball that the Principality hosted as part of a cultural, economic and tourist exchange between Monaco and Venice, and with the support of Mr. Georges Marsan, Mayor of Monaco and H.E Cristiano Gallo, Ambassador of Italy in Monaco. After two successful editions, Delia Grace Noble organized a Gala for the opening of the 75th Film Festival of Venice, at the Hotel Cipriani, an evening whose main theme was the image of the Principality.

For the Ball of Princes and Princesses in 2019, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco gave his consent during, under her High Patronage, to exhibit during the event, the ball gowns of Princess Grace of Monaco, worn in 1966 for the Centennial Ball at the Casino de Monte-Carlo. An amazing show composed the entire puzzled of an event to remain engraved in the hearts of many: a cast of artists like the Romanian tenor, Alin Stoica, the French mezzo-soprano Beatrice Uria Monzon, the opera singer Cristina Pasaroiu, Anca Elena Andronache from the Romanian National Opera, Mariinsky ballet dancer, Alexei Tyutyunnik and Irina Leman, Tk Ts Scarlet Brno ballroom dancing group from Czech Republic.

For this years' edition, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Sovereign Prince Albert II of Monaco, the magic will happen on June 17, 2021, at the Hôtel de Paris, in the sumptuous Salle de l'Empire. It will revive the aristocratic atmosphere, so typical to Monaco, and will stir emotions that few experienced in their lives.

Personalities, Stars, Amazing Dancers and Singers for the Ball of Princes and Princesses

From the reception, everything will resonate perfectly with the magnificent atmosphere that Monte Carlo is known for. Guests will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with members of royalty, personalities or stars of the big screen who will make the evening unforgettable. The best dancers, artists, musicians, performers will do their appearance during the Grand Bal des Princes et des Princesses, to the full delight of the guests. You will have the chance to live your dream and dance with the best dancers, mount the stage at the end of the gala and enjoy the fairy tale.

High Fashion, Long Gowns, Black Tie or Uniforms to revive the Ball Ambiance

The Gala evening will encourage participants to immerse themselves into the world of the glamorous Monaco, into a faded epoch of princes and princesses, to revive the dreamy aristocratic balls of dances and high fashion. Distinguished guests are recommended to dress, such as the noblest and most sumptuous of lords and ladies. Military uniforms ceremony or tails for princes and prestigious ball gowns and tiaras for princesses.

The Ball of Princes and Princesses, a Charity Event

The Ball of Princes and Princesses is also a charity event. Part of the funds raised during the gala will be donated to the Princess Grace Foundation. Founded in 1964 by HSH Princess Grace, the Foundation contributes, annually, to humanitarian projects, for the benefit of children and students through cultural projects but, also, in the medical area, with a focus on the paediatric units, helping hospitalized children and their families, buying necessary equipment for the treatment of the young patients.

The programme for the evening:

The evening starts with a show at the Place du Casino with the "Principi d´Acaja" flag throwers and continues with the Red Carpet welcome ceremony, in front of the Hôtel de Paris at 7 pm. Subtly, the ambiance of the theme Midsummer Night's Dream takes place and makes way to the opening of the Grand Ball by the Orchester of the Carabiniers du Prince at 8:15 pm. The Gala dinner imagined by Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse cuisine will start at 8:30 pm with the artistic shows during the entire evening. The passing from an era to another will be made by the DJ Papa who will bring the return to reality more fun with an opening dance stage, at the end. And cherry on top, the night is still young to continue the party with Casino Royal at the Casino de Monte-Carlo at around 12:30.

 A night to remember, a night to surrender to and plunge into fantasy!
