I follow the soft fragrance of peonies and pink pale roses and they lead me to fairytale, on a warm summer Saturday evening, the 25th of June. With small steps, an entire world unveils to me just like in Alice in Wonderland. A tapestry of powdery natural flowers, 40000 to be more precise, all around in a diaphanous pink dream! The background of the evening, apart from everything else!
Princess Gowns and aristocratic scenery
Sparkling tails that wipe away the floor leaving behind the romance of the day and a plethora of dozens of crowns to blind you into a world asking not to be forgotten and thrown away into oblivion!
And from one step to another, the aristocratic scenery fills with the elegant opulence of a classical Monégasque ball. Etiquette, manners, old classical bows mixed with modern luxury.
It's a dream come true for everyone who wants to turn back time to the era of marquises, duchesses and princesses. Still, we have them among us, right here at the ball! And just like a fairytales, time has no definition, has no limit. An expansion in dimension and a walk through the labyrinth of time! The passing from one era to another is very subtle.
The Carabiniers start the Ball
All of the sudden, the Carabiniers enter the fairytale as a sign to open the ball. Emotion begins to rise up and fall into modern shivers that seem to reckon a time where feelings were hidden under a soft cheeky natural blush.
The Queen of the fairytale, Delia Noble
The Queen of the fairytale, the master of the royal evening, the artistic mind and soul of this event, Delia Noble, enters the stage in a powdery pink gown signed Catalin Botezatu. Her aura embellished by stirred excitement was pouring sparkles to the guests. Only her opera singer voice brings even more power to it. And the Ball begins, with a reviving of aristocratic salons. Famous singers, orchestras, actors, musicians, illusionists, acrobats and international performers join together to create magic.
A melodious menu, one of the best chosen dishes
The evening takes place with a melodious transition from one dish to another, honestly confirming as one of the best chosen menus I have ever ate. From blue lobster, cooked in tarragon sauce with herb emulsion and lemon crumble to risotto with asparagus tips and parmesan, filet of charolais beef with chanterelle mushrooms and zucchini flower and a royal desert with a chocolate crown on top, the millefeuille Prince Albert with caramelized leaf, wild strawberries, a real epicurean delight.
The opera scene turns into a dancing stage
Like a final clap, opera scene turns into a dancing stage and all its « actors » start to dance under modern vibes. Princesses grab their dresses and move under electro frequencies, getting surreal each time.
A dedication to Princess Grace
A night to remember allured by its fragrance and the magic of an era that revives each year with this Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses. The event by Noble Monte Carlo dedicates its mission to the Foundation of Princess Grace.
