The Grand Ball of Monte Carlo in Venice

At the opening of the 80th edition of the Venetian Film Festival, the luxurious event, The Grand Ball of Monte Carlo lands its faiytale to awake the dreams of beauty and opulence of an unforgettable era, on the 31st of August. Monte Carlo glamour embarks on Venetian land for a ball where every gust feels like a princess or price. In a somptuous decoration, guests plunge into an aristocratic story depicted from movies. 

The event's theme is "Princes and Princesses", and pays tribute to Grace Kelly, bringing the glamour Monte-Carlo to the mystic world of Venise and its cinematic world. The venue for the Ball is the uniquely beautiful Baglioni Hotel Luna. Following the evening cocktail, the party goers will enjoy a lavish gala dinner incorporating international cuisines made by the resident Michelin-starred chef Claudio Sadler, as well as fabulously exciting event including a glamour show and the Ball. The guest list for the Ball includes world-renowned film actors and actresses who will step off the silver screens and revel in the opulence of Monte-Carlo right in Venice. 

Delia Grace Noble, opera singer and UNICEF Ambassador, is the artistic director of the project. Together with her team and partners, she strives to turn the most magical creative fantasies into a nice reality, thereby providing unforgettable emotions to the guests. Her event is a strong dedication for fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming a princess, like in the stories we have all grown up with. She has successfully crowned herself with the task of a spectacular one-of-a-kind Grand Ball in Burj Al Arab and the closing event of Monaco Pavilion at EXPO Dubai. 

Six years ago, the event was created to bring the magic of Monte-Carlo to Venice Film Festival where were hosted this Grand Gala & Ball as part of a cultural, economic and tourist exchange between Monaco and the city of love, with the support of Mr. Georges Marsan, the Mayor of Monaco and the Italian Ambassador to Monaco. HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco has agreed to support the Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses and every year the event is held in Monaco under his High Patronage. 

The event will include exclusive artistic welcome, performance of international singers, live musical entertainment, performances, dance show, exclusive awards, live DJ set, glamorous late-night dancing and more. The event goes beyond the festive evening. The elegant Ball of Monte-Carlo with Princes and Princesses theme will undoubtedly leave an imprint on the hearts of the guests. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to Princess Grace of Monaco Foundation. The main ball organisation's purpose is to financially support this foundation.
