The edition of the Tax Free World Association, world-famous TFWA had taken place in Cannes from 21 till 26 October and in "Brand New World" state of mind. Appointment impossible to miss by Big Players, beauty reasserts its importance for Duty Free and industry of Travel Retail.
Erik Juul-Mortensen is president of the TFWA and was beside ancient minister of American Foreign Affairs, the Dr. Madeline Albright for this 28th edition, joined by Jean-Charles Decaux, CCO-CEO to JCDECAUX AG and the Dr. Kjell A. Nordstrom, economist and author and revealed together the importance to make these markets more dynamic. So many themes which attracted many visitors, representing strong interest for the Duty Free.
The exhibitors were present in great number, the whole divided in "villages" of colours, and the cosmetic branch represented 125 brands, that means 28 % of firms exhibitors.
The "big" luxury ones had therefore mobilised their teams for this stay business on French Riviera: Azzaro Parfums, The L'Oréal, Beauty International Prestige, Bourjois, Perfumes Christian Dior to list not only some names.

Benady revealed the possession of the licence for the future perfume Dawn serenade.
