Designer handbags

The luxurious brand Chanel is introducing a new “Boy” line of handbags. It is a twist that Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s creative director, has made. He announced that the new collection has been inspired by androgynous style that is modeled on a hunter’s cartridge which was worn by Coco Chanel.

The androgynous aspect fit in the luxurious brand identity, also, as it is said that Coco Chanel often was inspired by the “boys” outfits and turned them into classic, timeless piece of fashion. Lagerfeld explained that “Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses…She had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life.”

The luxurious handbag line will be available in shades like red, grey and ivory glazed calfskin at the price of from $2500 to $4300.
