Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli cited Africa as their inspiration for Valentino's Spring '16 collection. Drawing influence from the 'Kanga' - a traditional dress among women in the Great Lakes region - this gauzy cotton gown is printed with giraffes and finished with a Swahili proverb at the gathered cuffs and hemline. Seen on the runway, this semi-sheer piece has pockets and a slip to line.
