Russian theme set up by Karl Lagerfeld for the Bal de la Rose in Monaco

On March 29 will take place in Monaco the well known Bal de la Rose held by Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Caroline of Hanover, a charity event to raise money for the Princess Grace Foundation. The Grace Foundation, a charity that supports pediatric health, is celebrating its 50 years.

For the special occassion, Karl Lagerfeld comes with an entire imagery and Russian canopy to set up a magic decor at the Salles des Etoiles at Le Sporting Monte-Carlo. The fashion designer was inspired by Kazimir Malevich and the constructivism style. The architectural movement that was at his peak in the 1917 - 1921 is about geometric motifs and parts of mixing elements into a unique piece. 

The entire Russian influence can be seen through the invitation to the Monaco Ball which is a drawing in the linear style of constructivism combining design, fashion, art.
