Rod Stewart in the opening of Monte Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2013

The 2013 edition of Monte Carlo Sporting Summer Festival will resound as a firework this year which celebrates the 150th birthday of the Société des Bains de Mer created in 1863. From July 6th till August 19th, the Room of Stars, become the worldwide temple of music with its festival that will receive a constellation of stars.

The starting with most British and the most sexy of the singers and the songwriter, ROD STEWART, who performs for his big return with a new album called "Time". The English star will open festivities on July 6th and 7th of this year with two exceptional concerts. Then the festival will receive the icon of the world rock music, SANTANA, on Monday, 8 and Tuesday, July 9th, and sublime RIHANNA, on Wednesday, 10 and Thursday, July 11th, to fasten a first week of madness at Sporting Monte-Carlo!

Next week, new show SPIRIT OF THE DANCE will monopolise the stage of the Room of Stars from 14 till 19 July. The famous Irish troops join, for THE occasion, the nice Celtic Ladies and the violinists of Lumina to give an unique show... Halfway between musical and contemporary ballet, this show gives an unpublished concept, interbreeding of tap dance, of classical ballet, of tap dance, of jazz and of flamenco, an inventive production and of incredible choreography.
