The necessity of bringing science and philosophy into our space is a vital notion in interior design. How space is defined by us, our being and soul and creation of our personal universe. Consequently for several months our showroom at Garbarino Interior Design with La Loggia by Garbarino has created a collaborative space in which professional decorators and lifestyle designers can express their vision. Painters, photographers, designers, experts in literature and unique pieces have come together to transform our showroom at 40 des Moulins into a space dedicated to travel, encounters and dreams. Another approach to the inspirational decoration of our interiors. Then follows shape and form since space is created within these contours.
This exciting new universe can now be discovered in the Principality of Monaco. David Garbarino and his team of interior designers and decorators are presenting a new display at La Loggia by Garbarino. Firstly lines: geometrically perfect and intuitive. An absence of walls with unique space defined by intermittent and variable partitions. A subtle way of defining living space and personal space. Practicality within this space rhyming with originality. Minimalist but intelligently integrated to accommodate shelving, furniture and decorative objects. Sliding walls behind a screen, doors masking shelves and niches. Next the importance of colour and materials : noble, minima, sober and fused, wood and marble, white and cream. A recurring contrast of beautiful softness to again define seamless space. Continuing with transparency: "to see and not be seen " , living together but respecting personal space. Finally the importance of light: natural lighting but also clerestory lighting to subtly project wall and floor graphics.
A new display for La Loggia by Garbarino as well as Japanese Interior Design. Remarkable lines, colours ,materials, transparency and light following in the footsteps of our founder Adriano Garbarino of Garbarino Interior Design has always been richly inspired by Japanese art and craftwork , the alchemy between material and form , the complete harmony with nature. David Garbarino , equally inspired by and close to the environment has collaborated with his interior designer Amandine Chanut to create a world in pure Japanese tradition. Allowing nature to filter through diversely or making it an integral part of the interior design. Thus quite naturally our next theme at La Loggia by Garabino will be dedicated to Japan. This new staging will be called REIWA in reference to the era of the New Emperor. Meaning Beautiful Harmony this new chapter will illustrate David Garbarino's desire to cast light on the rich ‘savoir faire' through different periods with harmony and flair.
In this new, pure and elegant space you will discover art and craftwork from Shogunat until the present: authentic pageantry armor, screens in gold leaf , original Kabemonos for bolder spaces Hibachi and Hanakago "woven baskets" for typical floral compositions called Ikebana and magnificent lacquered or Jubako boxes as well as a calligraphy ink pot or Suzuri-bako. From November 1st 2021 until February 28th 2022 you will discover Japan through its art and craftwork as well as various written works presented by Massena Librairie, Maison Garbarino's literary partner. The history of the tea ceremony will be recounted and relative objects displayed. If you have a gift to offer it will be beautifully wrapped in Furoshiki cloth using a Japanese technique. Finally do not forget our furniture by Garbarino Collections and the brand Visionaire Home Philosophy.
