Photo competition Bad renting habits, 1500 euros to win

Object: On the occasion of its 25 years, the Foundation for the Social Accommodation will reward with 1 500€ the photo-reporter who will win the competition « Bad renting habits » on Myphotoagency.com. 

OBJECTIVE: sensitize public opinion in the crisis of badly accommodation

The Foundation for the Social Accommodation wanted to register in these dynamics to draw attention in a play and interactive way to the problems of badly accommodation. To illustrate the diversity of subject in concrete terms and to implicate the biggest number in its battle, it is a photography competition that was chosen as key operation for its 25 years.

BRIEF: humanize the course of badly lodged

Photographers, tell the story a person goes through while renting, of the persons who, thanks to this push in the right direction, succeeded in avoiding the street. These persons who, thanks to the intervention of associations and hired social workers, found hope and respectability. 
 

How many of them remained after losing their job, met a problem of health or changed by family situation, to have met near exclusion? It is at this stage of fragility, when everything can again topple over, that the Foundation for the Social Accommodation intervenes.

In the form of photo-reportage, you must retranscribe the way gone through by these accident victims of life. All stories being peculiar, you have freedom to turn to the one who inspires you and who represents the course of badly lodged, according to you.  

Foundation for the Social Accommodation also granting an attention in the situations of disability (autism, mongolism, wronged cerebral), the taking into account of these dimensions in offered photo-reports will be appreciated.

 

For the candidates, you must subject between 10 and 15 photographs then accompany your series with a presentation text.

THE CALENDAR: candidate, vote, display!

From May 13th till June 23rd: an appeal to candidacies is made to the professional photographers and amateurs on Myphotoagency.com

From 24 till 30 June: the jury of Foundation for the Social Accommodation will undertake a shortlisting of candidacies.

From 1st till 21 July: discreet series will be subjected to the polls of the Internauts which will allow to the laureate to carry off a 1 500-euro price.

In last quarter 2013, the winner will also display his photographs on the occasion of the annual Diner de Gala of Foundation for the Social Accommodation.
