Fashion is big business and the fashion spotlight will again be on Perth from 19 - 25 September 2012 with the return of Western Australia's largest annual fashion event, Perth Fashion Festival (PFF).

Frocking up for its 14th year, the Festival looks set to build on the success of previous years with a fresh and confident edge to pique the interests of fashion followers of all tastes.

The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor and Perth Fashion Festival Ambassador, Lisa Scaffidi is delighted to continue in her role as the Festival Ambassador and for The City of Perth to host the eclectic mix of 40 fashion forward events.

"2012 Perth Fashion Festival will be fresh, confident and beautiful and we can all be so proud of the fine credentials it brings to Perth."

"Amidst the glamour we'll immerse ourselves in the inspirations of our own home grown talent and observe new trends, while elegantly celebrating the youthful vibrancy of our dynamic City.

"PFF has built an enviable reputation for providing a platform for upcoming and established WA designers, models, makeup artists and industry professionals to showcase their talent to a local, national and international audience.

The 2011 Festival was the biggest and most successful in PFF's history attracting an audience of over 47,000 attendees, including national and international celebrities, fashion buyers and media. It showcased 166 designers and 120 models hit the runway.

"We are excited to announce PFF's 2012 dates and look forward to revealing some fresh new initiatives in the coming months. Over the last 13 years we've reached amazing heights and in 2012 are again looking to build on our past successes so that we continue to develop opportunities domestically and beyond for our local designers and creative talent," PFF Director, Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan said.
