Perfumes for women
IFRA North America is an institution that represents the fragrance industry in Washington for decades. Its origins come from 1920 when it was first created and since then it has represented this type of industry.
IFRA created many series about making scents and using them. It teaches about nature, how we can use it in the benefit of great fragrances and what is the process of creating perfumes. First in series, “Making scents” speaks about the art and science of designing scents and fragrances.
The video explains the different types of fragrance ingredients, research and safety testing and the whole work that is needed in order to create fragrances.
“Fragrances and scents are part of the daily lives of people around the world, yet most people don’t understand the research and artistry that goes into making a single fragrance. A fragrance artist must work with a specified palette of tested ingredients to create a new scent. It takes years to design the perfect fragrance, so it makes sense that fragrance makers do not share the unique recipes for their creations,” said Jennifer Abril, IFRA North America Executive Director.
