Best actress was synonymous with Meryl Streep yesterday evening, thanks to her grandiose interpretation for her emblematic role of Margaret Thatcher in Iron Lady. Meryl so lived his 17th nomination, held his 3rd Oscar and demonstrated all her joy in the assembly. « To accept awards is magical, but the friends are even more », she declared.

The Iron Lady also accepted award for the category Best Make-up: Mark Coulier, from Great Britain and J.Roy Holland, the United States, were called to go up on stage. « The biggest tournament in this film will have been to recreate Margaret Thatcher without Meryl Streep's being recognizable. », explained Mark. For J.Roy Holland, most hard " the budget " will have been as it expressed it itself. Both found intriguing that Meryl Streep in Margaret Thatcher crossed very dense crowds on the streets of London during filming and that nobody noticed it.
