Olivia Palermo was all Furla in Tokio for the launching of the Spring Summer collection at Tokyo National Museum.
Tokio is a fantastic city where the Furla brand has 69 stores and intends to leverage this number. Also, Olivia Palermo is very fond of this city, she discovered it in spring while taking a bike tout along with her boyfriend, Johannes Huebl and two other friends.
"We're just all big Tokyo lovers so we decided to rent bicycles for seven days and rode around the city and really got to know all different areas," Olivia Palermo said, cited by WWD. "You do it in London, Paris, New York, so why not do it in Tokyo?"
The Asian market is a great business place to be for the Italian brand, Furla. This market has a lot to offer also regarding the customers but also the creative collaborations for the brand. It is the start of a collaboration with celebrity florist Nicolai Bergmann whose patterns will be included in the autumn 2014 collection.
