Nicole Kidman at the China Fashion Chic Project

The pioneer of luxury fashion in China, Shanghai Tang, celebrated its 20th anniversary with the launch of a capital project dedicated to make from Chinese fashion a key player in the international arena. 

After a glamorous fashion show presented Oct. 22 at the highlight of Fashion Week, Shanghai Tang will launch under the label of China Fashion Chic, a series of initiatives for the coming years. Shanghai Tang designed the China Fashion Chic platform to support emerging designers in China and inject new energy into contemporary Chinese mode. 

Shanghai Tang invited two leading Chinese designers Masha Ma and Wang Pei Yi, to develop capsule collections for SS15 which have received tremendous exposure during a fashion show in which the highlight was the Shanghai Tang SS15 collection. 

Famous Chinese supermodels Liu Wen, Bonnie Chen and Zhao Lei have walked the catwalk before the red carpet at China Fashion Chic and Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, who came to congratulate the brand's success. "I think it's great that the brand is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is the head of the celebration of Chinese fashion."
