The ambition is to position the Nice Jazz Fest! among the most important in Europe by mixing the best of jazz with current musical trends.

Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, President of the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis, Deputy President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region:

"After a summer full of events with the arrival of the Tour de France and the Olympic events, a new page, a new chapter in the history of the oldest jazz festival in the world will be written this summer with Nice Jazz Fest. I am very proud to unveil an exceptional and eclectic program this evening. The Nice Jazz Fest 2024 will offer 4 exceptional evenings for the people of Nice, with many new features. For example, the establishment of an experience village open to all, a dedicated space for children, and numerous activities so that everyone can enjoy the friendly, musical atmosphere and leave with an unforgettable memory.
The Nice Jazz Fest will be the promise of a great moment of life, rich in emotions from the Théâtre de Verdure to the Masséna stage. Jazz continues to write its great history in Nice, the cradle of universal and borderless music! »

At the source, there is jazz!

Sébastien Vidal, Artistic Director of the Nice Jazz Fest:

"Jazz is everywhere, it slips into the samples, the rhythms, the groups, the inspiration of all current music. This is what we are affirming with this Nice Jazz Fest! 2024. We have the right to love Kenny Garrett and Jungle... A Phoenix fan will be happy to discover the Caribbean rhythms of Arnaud Dolmen... and the Ethiopian groove of the legendary Mulatu Astatke also makes the Dabeull pack dance. Jazz is the new black...! »
