Monaco's Royal Family will not attend the world premiere of the movie Grace of Monaco at Cannes Film Festival. The movie will make its debut at the festival on May 14th and is very much awaited by the many fans of Monaco Royalty and, especially, Princess Grace.
The Monaco's Royal family is offended by the movie interpretation of the life of Prince Rainier. He is depicted as a weak leader who over controls Princess Grace.
"Prince Albert fears the movie vilifies his father. It was Pierre's decision not to screen the movie for the royal family, and their requests for changes have been ignored. They won't be at the premiere." cited Page Six.
In the movie Grace of Monaco, Nicole Kidman plays the role of the Princess Grace who is struggling to fit her new life as a married woman and her new status, going from a well known Hollywood actress to a real Princess on a new land.
