A journalist, who drives a car without brakes and searches for Nazi submarines, cannibalistic Trinitarians who renounce meat, Bolivian evangelical twins' guardians of aghost train, an irascible mechanic, and a jealous husband. In the middle of these roads whereeveryone seems to act with logic worthy of Alice in Wonderland, Parker falls in love with thecashier of a fairground. But how can you track someone in a world where when you ask fordirections you are told: "You go straight, on Thursday you turn left and at nightfall turn leftagain, early or later will you get to the sea"? Eduardo's second book, "Roca Pelada, 2023 "takes us this time to discover life at the top of the highest mountains in the world. A hypnoticrhythm, wild and limitless landscapes, dialogues, and situations as surreal as they are hilarious and a powerful reflection on the great detours of existence alongside a solitary. Thecharacters, a lieutenant, an impertinent sergeant, a squad of corporals come tropics, sick butvery polite, miners made of stone and bone, and even an old wizard! A unique and timeless novel.
