Marylin Monroe, the beauty icon, the red lips and curly lashes, the sensual look and the feminine refference in terms of style. It is to know that her iconic face was the work of Max Factor Jr who transformed Norma Jeane Mortenson (the real name of Marylin Monroe) into the well-known diva.
So now, Max Factor wanted to revive the legendary look through a partnership with Authentic Brands Group that owns the Marilyn Monroe estate in order to make the star the new ambassador of the beauty brand.
The partnership is not intended for a new collection, but for the entire brand and pieces that are meant to spotlight brand's elements like 'Ruby Tuesday Colour Elixir' lipstick, 'False Lash Effect Mascara' and 'Facefinity' foundation. It'sa revival of the 40s and 50s looks.
"Marilyn made the sultry red lip, creamy skin and dramatically lined eyes the most famous beauty look of the 1940s and it's a look that continues to dominate the beauty and fashion industry," said Pat McGrath, design director of Max Factor.
Starting January 6, the campaign will be launched globally including social media showing Marylin Monroe in images as a film star and also as Norma Jeane.
