Marylin Monroe love letters at auction

Marylin Monroe is the icon so much adored by fans in the entire world. Each piece of her private life is like a mirage for many. Now, for some lucky fans, it will be the chance to have the love letters of the star right in your pocket.

Marylin Monroe's love letters will be auctioned on the 5th and 6th December at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills along with some personal mementos and notes. The collection intituled Marylin Monroe's Lost Archives contains more than 300 documents like letters to important figures like Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Arthur Miller or Joe DiMaggio whom the actress married and divorced in the same year.

Joe DiMaggio used to write to the actress back in 1954: "There is nothing I would like better than to restore your confidence in me...I love you and want to be with you"
