Maria Callas Monaco Gala and Awards

The prestigious event of the Grand Prix Maria Callas Monaco Gala & Awards returns again this year with its impressive 5th Edition event , that is going to be held in April 25th at 6.30pm, in the magnificent and historic venue of the Monte Carlo Opera Salle Garnier.

The Grand Prix Maria Callas Monaco Gala & Awards is an event that it is Under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco , and is the rebirth of the legendary original, Gala was held for first time in Monte Carlo in 1960 , where the greatest Opera Diva Maria Callas enchanted the crowds and the Royal couple of T.R.H. Prince Rainier & Princess Grace of Monaco, with her amazing voice, inside the magnificent  Monte Carlo Opera Salle Garnier.
This event is also an ode and a celebration of Friendship of the two unforgettable women,  of H.R.H. Princess Grace of Monaco and La Divina Maria Callas.
The event consists of an Opera & Music concert, and an Award ceremony to reward great Artists and significant worldwide personalities who stood out for their remarkable achievements. 
Until now many great Artists and significant personalities were Awarded from this Organization for their remarkable status, such as H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco, H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, the famous actress Monica Bellucci, singer Nana Mouskouris, actress Angelina Jolie ,director Pablo Larrain, and many others.

This year's sacred cause of the event is to support young music Artists with vision, who love classic music and Opera, and by giving to them the great opportunity of high recognition, with the great chance to perform on stage of Monte Carlo Opera, the best finalists of the online classic music competition they made .
The honorary Music Star of the night is Placido Domingo Jr who expected to make this event even more prestigious with his kind presence.
