Marc O’Polo, Formula 1 legends

The Formula 1 in the 60s and 70s was synonymous with glamour, and Werner Eisele captured the world as no other photographer made it. Published in German in 2005, its book on the golden age of these sports, Formula 1 Legenden, was fast in stock shortage. 

When the team of Mark O' Polo discovered the photos of Eisele, it was fascinated by to their authenticity and style. By meeting the photographer, she learnt that her dream was to reissue ithis classical of salon table in a germano-English version. 

Today, Mark O' Polo is proud to announce a dream brung into being: in cooperation with the editor Collection Rolf Heyne, a bilingual edition Formula 1 Legends will be available from mid-February 2013.

Inspired by way of life and sense of freedom which encircles the Formula 1 in the sixties and 70, Mark O' Polo defined a selection of must have for Man, «Summer legends»: silhouettes 

with casual and sportswomen clothing who play with a mixture of classical colours and contrasts, as well as exclusive Tshirt in limited edition printed by a photo of Eisele. 

Mark O' Polo waits with impatience for the presentation of the book Formulate 1 Legends in Munich mid-February that will be accompanied with an exhibition of the emblematic photographs of Werner Eisele. 

With the book illustrated by Eisele, the «Legends of Eté» Mark O' Polo will be available in one selection of Mark O' Polo boutiques in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Holland, Poland and Russia from mid-February. 

The launching of the collection will be supported by a marketing campaign of broad wingspan, including insertions of four pages in GQ, Focus, Wirtschaftwoche, Stern, Auto Motor und Sports and Business Punk as well as animations on the points of sale.
